Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem hosted the 49th meeting of the CSO SG working group, which was attended by members from Germany, Netherland, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, B&H and Turkey.
Due to the relevance of the issues the group is dealing with – everyday practice in electric power system operation, all transmission system operators - ENTSO-E members - from continental Europe took part in the two-day meeting.
Prior to the working part of the meeting, a visit was organized to NDC, during which the main characteristics and manner of electric power system operation of Montenegro were presented to CSO members.
It is worth recalling that the CSO (Coordinated System Operation) is a permanent workgroup within the ENTSO System Operation Committee (SOC), which discusses all current issues at meetings, focusing on issues related to coordinated system operation within ENTSO interconnection such as - regulation, exchange of reserve, short-term planning and calculation, coordinated planning and operational safety, cross-border exchange, emergency situations, real-time data exchange.
