CGES AND POK TOGETHER TOWARDS NEW VICTORY

Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem (CGES) and the Paralympic Committee (POK) signed a new sponsorship contract today and extended their cooperation for another year.

The contract on general sponsorship was signed by the President of POK, Igor Tomić, and the Executive Director of CGES, Ivan Asanović.

Asanović, accompanied by his associates, visited Montenegrin table tennis players wishing them a successful performance at the "Montenegro Open". He reiterated that the Paralympians would always have the support of the company headed by him.

"I am extremely pleased that this year our company has decided to be the proud general sponsor of POK and continue the cooperation, which has already become a tradition. CGES cherishes diversity and uniqueness, and the Paralympians have shown that they are worthy of every attention. I hope our camaraderie will last for many more years", said Asanović.

Tomić reminded that CGES was the first general sponsor of the umbrella association of sports for people with disabilities with the cooperation continuing since 2018.

"On behalf of the Paralympians, their coaches, our Paralympic family, of which you are now an integral part, I want to say a big and sincere thank you. You not only continue, but also strengthen the support of CGES to the Paralympic movement of Montenegro. I will not talk about CGES, the results in the field you work in, as well as the corporate social responsibility where you are involved not only in sports but in culture, education and health care as well, speak more about you. In all those sensitive, unaffirmed areas of community that are looking for help," told Tomić.

He emphasized that the record aid in the pre-Paralympic year means a lot on the way to the next Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.

"Our roles of directors and presidents are temporary categories, what we leave behind us is something that will last.

What you, Mr. Asanović, your team and CGES have done for the Montenegrin Paralympic movement is something that leaves a deep mark," Tomić said.
